Maybe you have been lately throwing little stones at my window, trying to draw my attention, wondering where I was?
Little Stones at my Window
Once in a while
joy throws little stones at my window
it wants to let me know that it's waiting for me
but today I'm calm
I'd almost say even-tempered
I'm going to keep anxiety locked up
and then lie flat on my back
which is an elegant and comfortable position
for receiving and believing news
who knows where I'll be next
or when my story will be taken into account
who knows what advice I still might come up with
and what easy way out I'll take not to follow it
don't worry, I won't gamble with an eviction
I won't tattoo remembering with forgetting
there are many things left to say and suppress
and many grapes left to fill our mouths
don't worry, I'm convinced
joy doesn't need to throw any more little stones
I'm coming
I'm coming.
Well, little stones or not, I have been away from The Netherlands and away from my blog for two long months, and to go on quoting Latin American poets, "every silence comes to an end"*, so here I am!

These are some of the places where I have been and the things and people I have seen:
Hopefully, I will be telling you about these places, things and people in future posts. Now you can stop throwing little stones at my window - I am back!

Thanks, Sandra! Yes, I'm happy that I had such a good time there and I spent time with people I love; and I am happy to be back, too.
The church is the cathedral in Córdoba - I will post about it, yes!
Welcome back! I'm sure you had a wonderful time!
I sure did! Thanks, Alison!

Welcome back!!!!
I can see you had a good time :)
I'll be back in Casa at the end of this week IF connection to/from Frankfurt is working. So much trouble because of the SNOW! The whole Europe is one big mess.
We have almost 70cm snow in Helsinki!!! Rest of the country have less...and more snowing all the time. It's beautiful but pain to travel around the city...
Enjoy xmas spirit :)
Thanks, Stu!
Thanks!
Yes, I hear that flights are cancelled, airports not operating, etc., all over Europe! I was supposed to come back on 5 th Dec., but got one week delayed because of a strike of air traffic controllers in Spain... So I got to enjoy one week loger! :D
Spending Christmas in Casa., then?
Welcome back Aledys. Looking forward to reading about your adventures..the pics look absolutely amazing!
Thanks, Arwa!!
Bienvenida, welcome back to snowy NL ! Quite a difference huh ? You are so lucky for spending TWO months away (inveja branca da minha parte, hehehe!)
Well, as you can see, I also spent some time in snowy Bariloche! Well, it was just up in the Catedral, not the city, but still...! :D
It was indeed shocking when I arrived: the last two days in Córdoba we had 39 degrees and that IS hot!!!
Thanks, Anita!
Welcome back! Wishes of a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2011 full of good things!
